The Job:
The Associate Manager, Partnership Management, is part of WarnerMedia's Sales & Distribution organization. This person will be responsible for helping grow WarnerMedia's subscription revenues and app engagement with key domestic distribution partners, covering a content portfolio that includes HBO Max, HBO, Cinemax, and the Turner Networks.
As an integral member of the team, this person will liaise with key external partners and internal stakeholders. This role will maintain a consistent stream of analysis, information, and project management while actively supporting and capitalizing on partner opportunities. The Associate Manager will have the opportunity to make a big impact while working with a diverse and dynamic group of professionals across multiple business units. This position will report to the Director of Partnership Management.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Assist team in all activities related to the day-to-day management of WarnerMedia's subscription businesses with key distribution partners.
• Help to achieve revenue, subscriber, and engagement targets; proactively develop, implement, and monitor campaigns to drive KPIs.
• Support the development and execution of annual business plans; prepare agendas and presentation decks for internal and external partner meetings.
• Create, maintain, and optimize subscription trackers to monitor account performance, track partner engagement, and evaluate marketing.
• Run weekly, monthly, quarterly analysis to determine KPI trends and help influence strategy; perform campaign-specific analysis and post-mortems to draw conclusions about effectiveness; create and share best practices across partnership team.
• Foster and maintain cross-functional relationships within WarnerMedia and external partner teams, collaborating on promotions, marketing, operations, legal, and technology.
• Provide tactical support including competitive tracking, product updates, pricing & packaging changes, platform monitoring, etc.
• Manage budget: planning and tracking spend, reporting on ROI, processing invoices.
• Stay curious and current with industry and evolving landscape; develop a point of view on new media trends.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required.
• A minimum of 3 years professional experience.
• Experience in account and/or client management is preferred.
• Experience working as part of a sales organization and/or growth business is a plus.
• Highly skilled in Excel & PowerPoint; familiarity with Looker, Google Suite, Teams a plus.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Great attention to detail and accuracy; ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Positive attitude and team player.
