Job Description
This role is a key leadership position within the Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Center of Excellence (COE). The Vice President, Domestic Networks FP&A, COE will lead the Domestic Networks FP&A COE organization in support of the Domestic Networks CFO and team and the CNN CFO and team, delivering core forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analysis functions for the Domestic Networks.
The Vice President, Domestic Networks FP&A, COE will also lead the Domestic Ad Sales and Distribution Revenue core planning functions, overseeing all processes to deliver planning outputs and driving best practice tools and systems.
This role will deliver the formation, growth and stabilization of the Domestic Networks, CNN, Domestic Ad Sales and Distribution Revenue FP&A COE organization in Mexico City, working with COE and Business Finance leadership to determine resourcing needs, clarify responsibilities and build a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
Domestic Networks FP&A:
• Lead the Domestic Networks FP&A COE team and deliver key planning, reporting, and analysis capabilities in support of the Domestic Networks CFO and team and the CNN CFO and team , including monthly forecasting, financial close, budgeting and LRP
• Oversee and co-ordinate across the FP&A COE teams on the inputs into the Domestic Networks financial planning cycles, ensuring timely delivery of financial outputs to Group FP&A and Investor Relations, and clear understanding and articulation of business drivers. Key partner on accounting, tax, reporting and related matters for Domestic Networks
• Support the Domestic Networks CFO, CNN CFO and team on any ad hoc requests and analytics to support business decisions and drive integration of any new business changes into reporting and systems
• Demonstrate deep knowledge and understanding of the Domestic Networks business drivers to enhance FP&A COE capability for reporting and insights, tracking and reporting on business performance and KPIs
Domestic Ad Sales & Distribution Revenues:
• Lead the Domestic Ad Sales and Distribution Revenue FP&A COE team, delivering core forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analysis functions for Domestic Ad Sales and Distribution Revenue
• Oversee and co-ordinate Domestic Ad Sales and Distribution Revenue inputs into the Domestic Networks financial planning cycles, ensuring timely delivery of financial outputs, and clear understanding and articulation of business drivers
• Work with the Domestic Ad Sales and Distribution Finance teams to support any ad hoc reporting requirements or analysis to support key decisions for the Ad Sales and Distribution teams
• Provide financial planning outputs and reporting to Streaming Finance team related to Digital Ad Sales and Wholesale Distribution deals, including business driver details and other relevant insights
• Collaborate and align with the International Ad Sales and Distribution FP&A COE team to align process, systems and tooling where appropriate, and to provide Global Reporting capability
• Transform and re-define processes, models and decision support tools to best practice, leveraging automation, decisions dashboards, scenarios modelling tools and predictive analytics using AI/ML where possible
Team Development:
• Lead a team of twenty FP&A and data analytics Finance professionals in Mexico City. Build the digital capabilities of the FP&A team by onboarding experienced talent to the team
• Develop and maintain an efficient, effective and diverse staff through selection, training, supervision, counseling and measuring the performance of direct reports and staff members. Create a positive work environment that fosters team and individual performance and promote a deep knowledge and understanding of the Domestic Networks business
• Develop, implement and communicate performance goals and objectives. Facilitate ongoing dialogue and performance reviews designed to provide measurable and timely feedback and implement corrective action as needed

Experience and Qualifications
• Extensive, relevant work experience with significant experience in a leadership position. Demonstrated experience building and leading a BPO/Shared Services organization in the FP&A space. FP&A transformation and / or Media experience a plus
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. accounting, finance); Master's degree in a related field (e.g. MBA) a plus
• Advanced knowledge of, and experience with, financial planning, analysis and reporting concepts, and of financial systems and tools, such as ERP systems, BI tools and advanced financial planning systems and software that leverages AI/ML capabilities
• Experience in implementing or working with dynamic forecasting models that incorporate predictive analytics and data-driven insights to enhance Business decision support
• Experience in project and change management, process improvement and global process ownership.
• Process oriented with a solid understanding of financial planning accounting principles, and internal control concepts
• An experienced people leader with proven results in building, leading and developing large and dispersed global teams. Ability to develop digital capabilities within the team
• Effective communicator at all levels of the organization with the ability to influence others and negotiate outcomes. Strong written, oral and presentation skills required
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across the organization. Strong problem resolution skills, and a high degree of integrity, tact and diplomacy
Other Considerations
• Hybrid role, with 3 days/week on-site requirement
