Your New Role:

Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. seeks a Senior Manager for the Financial Contract Reporting and Administration department. The Senior Manager will have broad oversight across various FCRA teams/functions including Participations Reporting, Data Analytics, Stakeholder and Cash Management, Residuals, and Audit support. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Mexico City cluster team and ensures that tasks/projects to support the FCRA department are completed timely and accurately according to business standards. This is an exciting role, which will work closely with FCRA leadership and business finance counterparts to develop deep knowledge and competency across all areas of the department and Studio's businesses. Additionally, the Senior Manager will be responsible for process improvement, and ongoing support of the standardization/transition efforts for the department and may be given short-term and long-term special projects by Directors and VPs.

The Senior Manager is an important constituent in ongoing cross-divisional initiatives related to leadership development, system design and testing, knowledge sharing, soft skills training, mentorship opportunities, and special projects.

Your Role Accountabilities:
• Responsible for recruitment and onboarding of new team members in partnership with Mexico City People and Culture team and FCRA leadership.
• Ensure ongoing development of team members including professional and people skills, knowledge of the business, and team engagement.
• Provide daily oversight of Mexico City Cluster team to ensure that business needs for support are being met across all FCRA functions – tasks include prioritizing, tracking, and reporting work status, developing timelines/plans for projects in collaboration with FCRA leadership.
• Assist in managing the quarterly priority list, statement sort, and allocation of work across team members.
• Works hand-in-hand with FCRA leadership on training/development, organizational design and long-term team vision/planning.
• Identify improvements and enhancements related to FCRA's systems (Sylvester, AIRS, JIRA, etc.) and participate in design and testing. Also, create, standardize, and improve business processes. Activities may include organizational research, process design, collaboration, and negotiation to create efficient integration points, process documentation and change management implementation.
• Performs and/or supervises special projects, analysis, and research (e.g., participant and auditor queries, etc.) including Financial modeling or what if analysis that may extend to enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Participate in meetings with business partners to gain deep knowledge and insight of overall Studio Finances and FCRA's role in broader organization.
• Evaluate staff performance and give feedback to management and staff to improve performance and accomplish department mission and goals.

Qualifications & Experience:
• BA/BS Degree required (Finance/Accounting preferred).
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills required.
• Minimum 6 years overall experience, 2-3 years prior management experience with demonstrated leadership skills required.
• Ability to work in a matrixed organization and experienced at juggling assignments from more than one supervisor.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles preferred.
• Experience with system implementations and testing preferred.
• Very strong proficiency in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word required.
• Very strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and algebra required.
• Excellent analytical skills required.
• Ability to read and understand digests and abstracts of legal agreements required.
• Must be very flexible and able to adapt and lead in a team environment that is fast-paced and changing rapidly.
• Solution oriented individual who can work in a dynamic, fast paced, high volume environment and think outside of the box.
• Confident individual who is a quick learner and self-starter.
• High detail orientation, without losing sight of the big picture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and be able to conceptualize and communicate solutions.
• Must be a team player with high-level of interpersonal skills and customer-focus.
