Your New Role...

This Manager is responsible for licensing Warner Bros. Discovery feature films, television series, & specials to Platforms including SVOD, AVOD, FAST, and other new media areas, as well as to the basic cable, & pay cable marketplace, along with extending current client base and creating new paradigms for distribution. This Manager is responsible for fostering relationships with emerging platforms and new clients, along with servicing existing clients, which includes project/deal management, avails, and licensing

Your role accountabilities...
• Meets with potential clients to gather information about their business objectives, and business models to evaluate potential new clients.
• Evaluates business proposals and potential clients with internal departments to determine viability of business opportunity.
• Negotiates licensing deals with various clients.
• Establishes & maintains strong relationships with various clients and programming executives as well as develops new clients for Warner Bros. programming.
• Works with internal departments including marketing, research, finance, and legal to prepare for, strategize, negotiate, close, and communicate terms of closed deals.
• Prepares availability reports & sales proposals for various clients. Other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience...

Work Experience
• Minimum 3-5 years related experience.
• Television or film industry experience strongly preferred.
• Talent Agency experience strongly preferred.

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BA/BS degree in related field required.

Knowledge/Skills
• Strong skills in sales, negotiation, research, programming, and presentations required.
• Knowledge in marketing, legal rights, finance as it pertains to TV Distribution and/or demonstrated passion and curiosity for the TV Distribution landscape.
• Extensive knowledge of research, programming, and scheduling that will aid in initiating and contributing to the creation of proposals and presentations.These are key factors in closing sales.
• Exceptional social skills for building strong relationships.
• Coachable and willingness to learn and work in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
Other Requirements
• General office activities, which may include sitting, walking (steps), speaking, filing, writing etc.
• Travel required at least 20% of the time.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of management, staff, and clients.
• Must have ability to prioritize tasks.
• Must have multi-tasking capability.
• Must have solid ability to develop strong meaningful relationships.
• Must be a team player with strong values, integrity, and character.
• Must have initiative, be a self-starter, and have excellent listening skills.
• Must be able to meet deadlines, be flexible, and very buttoned up.
