Job Description
The Job
Effectively create and manage the technology path for all application teams in the Global Monetization & Studio Tech department. Ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving technological innovation.
Strategic Alignment & Planning
• Partner with business and technology leaders to define and document the long-term business strategy.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive short-term and long-term technology strategy that aligns with the business vision, in collaboration with Global Monetization Technology leadership.
Technology Landscape & Roadmaps
• Conduct in-depth assessments of the current technology landscape and emerging trends.
• Continuously refine strategic roadmaps based on evolving business needs and technological advancements.
• Deliver detailed views of short-term roadmaps to place focus on how we will get to the long-term business strategy.
Portfolio Management
• Oversee the management of the technology portfolio, ensuring projects are aligned with strategic goals.
• Implement processes for goal/benefit-driven prioritization and portfolio rationalization.
• Monitor and report on portfolio performance, including benefit realization audits that include actual benefits as compared to planned.
Executive Advisory
• Deliver strategic insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making and long-term planning.
The Essentials
• Ability to work effectively in cross-matrixed teams.
• Over 15 years of experience working with Strategy, Planning and SDLC
• More than 10 years of hands-on expertise in the Media Entertainment industry
• Proven track record in defining both Business and Technology Strategy.
• Practical experience in rapidly developing PowerPoint presentations based on business strategy and technology solutions, and presenting short-term and long-term roadmaps to senior management.
• Ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to various audiences.
• Deep understanding of cloud versus data center architectures.
• Self-driven, growth-oriented, curious, and enthusiastic about challenging work.
• Experience in building positive relationships with team members.
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills; capable of working with all organizational levels and coaching team members.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Proven understanding of AWS Cloud native/hosted solutions.
• Preferred functional knowledge of:
• Cloud native (AWS, Azure)
• ServiceNow
• Monday.com
• MS O365 Office (Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project, Visio, SharePoint, Teams)

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $146,440.00 - $271,960.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
