This leadership role cuts across both Finance & Strategy and helps drive critical decision making for WB Games. This position directly manages a high-performing team based locally and/or within capability centers and requires a strong background in both traditional Finance as well as Strategy. It requires overseeing all aspects of consolidated financial planning, including forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans. The role supports the senior operational and financial leaders of WB Games and its Internal Game Studios, providing strategic leadership in modeling WB Games' annual slate profitability through game analysis, from initial greenlight to each phase of production. Additionally, it supports a variety of cross-functional strategic projects that will include creating and owning long-term WB Games strategy, evaluating market opportunities, supporting Games greenlight decisions, supporting business development and providing daily operational management decision making support. Acting as the connective tissue between WB Games Finance, Games Production/Studio Finance, Operations, Corporate Finance, Controllership, and other Capability Centers, this is a highly visible position. You will be exposed to senior leaders within WB Games and the broader Finance organization. An ownership mindset, proactivity, and the ability to balance multiple time-sensitive projects are essential for success in this role.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Provide FP&A for WB Games Business
• Manage all aspects of consolidated financial planning, including forecasts, budgets, long range plans, and Ultimates for each game (excluding individual Studio FP&A/Production Finance and Cash)
• Analyze, understand, and manage to key financial targets (Cash and P&L)
• Leverage understanding of WB Games to identify, propose and implement initiatives to help achieve annual targets
• Liaise with corporate FP&A around understanding the impacts of various business decisions and initiatives.
• Provide support and guidance to corporate finance teams for monthly and quarterly forecasting activities
• Review, synthesize, and create summaries of financial reports to senior leaders, including identifying key opportunities, risks, and gap-closing ideas
• Partner with business units to develop long range plans aligned with WBD growth initiatives
• Support and balance WB Games evolution- balancing near term profits with long-term business evolution
• Support WB Games Business Leaders Strategically
• Management Decision Making Support through data-driven strategic analyses
• E.g. creating and owning models / analyses that support greenlight decisions, assess deal structures, analyze ongoing production trends, etc.
• Lead Long range strategic planning
• Lead the assumptions and input into the official Games LRP
• Support the creation and articulation of the 3-5 year WB Games strategy to build a competitive advantage and increase profitability of the division
• Corporate / management presentations (board decks, QBRs, other management storytelling support)
• Growth related special projects
• Varying in nature and require flexible and creative out of the box thinking
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum of 8 years of experience that includes one or a combination of the following:
• Management consulting or investment banking within the Media, Technology or Games practices
• Strategy, corporate development, or business development at a media, sports, games, technology or direct-to-consumer company
• FP&A leader at a media, sports, games, technology or DTC company
• Supervisory experience
• Games Experience highly preferred or general Media and Entertainment
• Experience using modeling and analysis to inform key business decisions (building forecast P&Ls, ROI and breakeven analysis, etc.)
• MBA required or BA Finance with Bus Dev experience
• Strong communication skills and a keen eye for presentation design with the ability to distil complex concepts and analyses into clear, easy-to-understand presentations / summaries for senior executives
• Passionate about the Games space with a voracious appetite for industry news
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative DNA
• High level of integrity, strong work ethic, deep intellectual curiosity, and out-of-the-box thinking
• Ability to thrive and take initiative in fast-paced, ambiguous situations

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $126,350.00 - $234,650.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
