Job Description
As part of the WBD Mexico's communications team, the comms analyst will be responsible for the implementation of communication (PR) strategies, plans, campaigns designed to build and strengthen the organization's products, properties, brands and reputation as a leading entertainment company in Mexico , including all of its brands for publicity and programming including but not limited to series, sports, films and documentaries, working very closely with other areas of the company such as Production, Programming, P&C (HR), Legal, Finance and others.
We expect that through strategy, stories, ideas, actions, and implementations, the comms analyst helps drive consumer engagement, product desirability, television ratings, subscription sales, and brand building and awareness. The specialist shall design and implement strategic plans/programs and policies, and provides quality control for communications assets, media activities, influencers outreach and special events along with managing talent and production partners relations developing great rapport and manageable open, clear, productive working channels with them.
The comms analyst should support the communications (PR) efforts of WBD Mexico by planning and implementing PR strategies and campaigns to promote our IPs, shows, products and brands, by engaging in regular relationship with vendors, journalists, influencers, other areas of the company (including but not limited to Production, Programming, Legal, Finance). These activities are key to drive subscription growth, user engagement and revenue growth.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Work with vendors (agency) to develop strategic public relations programs to build, promote and differentiate the WBD brands in Mexico (i.e, press events, influencer campaigns, media tours; programming premieres, press releases, talent relations, etc.).
• Execute the established strategies, engaging content and experiences as needed, including but not limited to press releases, editorial content, media pitches, briefing books, junket briefings as well as web and social content, among others and coordinates day-to-day operations with PR agencies and regional WBD areas and offices to establish a successful workflow and delivers optimal results.
• Map, build and develop key relationships with journalists, KOLs and influencers and manage media relations, story pitches and logistics for publicity events. Monitors media coverage within Mexico as it relates to company brands, interests, talent and issues, managing critical incidents processes under the direction of the region communication direction.
• Monitors media coverage and social media in Mexico as it relates to company brands, interests, talent and issues, managing critical incidents processes under the direction of the region communication direction.
• Support talent management of local productions.

Qualifications & Experiences
• Experience in the development of PR plans and strategies
• Experience in managing and executing PR strategies
• Experience with talent management
• Good social and personal communications skills
• Excellence in written and spoken communications
• Good organizational and follow up skills
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations or related field
• Advanced English
Desirable
• Experience in the TV and film business, or general entertainment (music, events)
• A genuine, enthusiastic and passionate love of entertainment with excitement for our content and products
