Job Summary/Description:

WALA is seeking a Sales Assistant to serve as the liaison between viewers and clients who call or visit the television station. A positive attitude is a must! The position will also include administrative duties to support station management and projects

Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Serve as liaison between Sales Department and Creative Services team:
1. Schedule commercial/digital production for advertisers
2. Facilitate implementation of elements for sponsorships and special projects in coordination with Account Executives.

Serve as liaison between Sales Department and Studio 10 team:

1. Communicate with Sales Account Executives to set up Studio 10 segments. Account Executives will contact liaison with on-location shoot, in-studio taping, or in-studio interview they need to schedule for clients. Liaison will look at Studio 10 calendar, will help find a workable date/time and put it in the calendar. Liaison will also schedule the segment on the calendar for the day it's supposed to air.
2. Responsible for making sure necessary information for each sales segment is on the calendar, including appearance form, logos, pictures or video if applicable, etc. The Account Executive will get this information/materials from their clients, pass it on to the liaison, and the liaison will put it on the Studio 10 calendar for the shoot or interview date.
3. Remind A.E.'s each week to send in their necessary information.
4. Clip video from segments following air and post to website along with story from Studio 10 team.
5. Liaison should consult with Studio 10 E.P. on any questions or concerns regarding shoots and segments.
- Handle shipping and receiving duties.
- Pull and email pre and post log times for select advertisers.
- Double-check copy on traffic logs.
- Coordinate station staff events and client functions.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Two years professional work experience and college degree preferred.
