Distribution Coordinator (Temporary)

We are searching for a Distribution Coordinator that will assist with post production and delivery for all broadcast content across Vox's growing suite of FAST & OTT Channels. This position will also own planning and coordinate assets from across a variety of Vox Media's networks, with the overall goal of preparing and delivering digital content for broadcast licensing and distribution. This position reports to the Post Supervisor.

The ideal candidate would be someone who has excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task whilst working to strict deadlines. They will be someone who excels at meticulously troubleshooting problems, resolving issues with accuracy. The candidate must possess a positive and client focused attitude with strong administrational skills. A hardworking and determined individual would be well suited for this exciting new position.

Who You Are:
• You've got a strategic, creative and analytical mind with keen interests in news, TV, innovative storytelling and the broader media landscape.
• Comfortable learning new technologies and adept at problem solving technical issues
• Strong organizational & Media management experience (cataloging adding metadata, logging, folder structure organization, etc.)
• Logistically minded with a knack for creative problem solving
• Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Must be able to work well under pressure in order to deal with daily on-air scheduling and deadlines

What You'll Do:
• Become a video distribution expert, leading internal partners through the most efficient deployment of archival & current content through the end distribution pipeline.;
• Build strong troubleshooting acumen at the syndication, line item and creative level.
• Create and curate playlists of existing and current video assets from Vox Media Networks for the OTT linear channel
• Manage Content Distribution team's Post resources and projects, working across several projects at a time and owning/managing project status trackers and timelines.
• Work with a team of clearance producers and AE's to ensure all legal requirements have been met, coordinating necessary footage, graphics, and credits adjustments as needed.
• Own final QC and delivery of projects for broadcast, verifying accuracy of all production information and maintaining detailed logs and other records for both production and legal purposes.
• Assist with documenting, updating and maintaining delivery specs, trafficking and workflow procedures
