Job Description
Role Objective:
This position is responsible for assisting the sales administration team in all aspects of contractual sales management support for various for the media of: Pay TV, SVOD, VOD, PPV, Free TV, FVOD, Basic Cable, and EST/DTO.
Summary of Role Responsibilities:
• Coordinates with and responds to inquiries from Sales Offices, Legal, Accounting, Marketing, Finance/Planning and Licensees related to product availability, contractual license periods and product sales histories
• Tracks product sequential distribution release patterns through various media
• Prepares availability lists for new sales opportunities and to fulfill output commitments
• Manages output agreement obligations including notifications to licensees, obligation tracking and forecasting, researching qualification criteria, and assist with product selections where applicable
• Reviews draft deals for accuracy of information; provides feedback to Sales and Legal as required
• Understands, analyses and forecasts internal and external customer requirements and troubleshoots issues and problems as they arise
• Trains, oversees and reviews work of Analysts on the production of availability reports and product clearance review for deals submitted by Sales for internal approval.
• Trains, oversees and reviews work of Analysts on entry of all contractually negotiated license terms into rights licensing systems including product titles, territory, media, term periods, media holdbacks, license fees, revenue share arrangements, payment terms and product usage
• Inputs deal terms into financial systems as applicable
• Reviews product usage reports for television licensing agreements against contractual terms to identify potential revenue opportunities
• Ensures department files and reports are maintained as required
• Assists with implementation and upgrades to various sales systems supporting television and transactional digital business lines
• Ad hoc projects and requests as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential
• Related working experience in television or a related media Sales Administration capacity
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret license terms for product sales
• Strong Microsoft office and software application skills
• Bachelor's degree
Desirable
• 5-7 years of related experience working in Television contract or sales administration capacity
