Job Description
Coordinator, Distribution - 12 Month Contract (Maternity Leave)
Responsibilities
Role Summary/Purpose:
Reports to Senior Vice President, General Manager.
The Coordinator, Distribution is responsible for supporting the Universal Pictures Distribution Group in Canada.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Manages complex schedule and coordinates meetings/functions with internal and external parties
• Facilitates travel and expense preparation, management and tracking for the department to ensure all are submitted on time and reimbursements are made
• Inputs Film Distribution information into internal system
• Prepares weekly information and reports for internal and external needs
• Performs repertory/catalogue sales management, film release budget tracking and maintenance
• Coordinates pre-release film screening programs
• Prepares analysis and presentation materials related to: General box office performance, Comparable film analysis, Exhibitor performance, Competitive research
• Performs customer database management
• Provides back up coverage for Sales and In-theatre Marketing functions
• Represents Film Distribution on various internal committees
• Performs basic administrative tasks as required
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• College or bachelor's degree
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel)
• Strong analytical and written language skills
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-task
