How You'll LEAD:
Provides administrative services while working independently in relation to the budget and operational aspects of the recording and marketing process, including but not limited to analyzing recording actuals vs budgets, liaison with A&R and legal departments, liaison with TEAM and issuance of musician/vocalist PO's, issuance of recording reservations, reporting, open PO research and maintenance, assist in training in-house staff on Uniport 3, act as back-up when another department member is out of office.
How You'll CREATE:
• Work cross-divisionally between the A&R and Finance departments ensuring budgets are up-to-date and tracking production expenses related to each project vs budget.
• Liaison with Legal department regarding LOD and Producer Agreements for all recording projects.
• Provide recording summaries/actuals to A&R and Finance as needed.
• Serve as a liaison with TEAM Music for recording musicians and vocalists. Issue TEAM PO's and submit payments through the UMG UniPort system.
• Access Veva system to check on recording parts delivery status.
• Perform reconciliation of all current projects to ensure that production expenses are being booked properly and that all expenses are accounted for.
• Assist in open PO research and maintenance for both recording and marketing.
• Learn and assist in training in-house staff on UniPort.
• Act as back-up when one of the team members is out of the office.
• Assist Finance on an as needed basis.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience in SAP
• Ability to communicate effectively over the phone, in writing and in person.
• Proven people skills.
• Strong proofreading skills.

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively within a fast paced environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated, needs little supervision to meet deadlines.
• Working knowledge of label operations

Experience:
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in administrative role or comparable experience
• College degree preferred
Physical Demands:
• Regularly required to sit
• Requires motor skills to operate a keyboard and basic office equipment
• Occasionally required to stand and walk
• Ability to communicate over the phone and in person
• Occasionally required to lift up to 25lbs
