Senior Cloud Administrator

Job Description

United Talent Agency is looking to hire a Senior Systems Administrator who will essentially operate as a Cloud Administrator. You will use the skills required of a Systems Administrator in an in-house or hosted environment, as well as a working knowledge of the skills required to provision, manage, monitor, and decommission cloud services.

What You'll Do
• Design, install, configure, and maintain internal and customer facing environments leveraging modern cloud-based technologies
• Assists with operation and maintenance of network devices and firewalls
• Develop robust documentation for environments and procedures
• Proactively manage and maintain IT infrastructure both on premises and in the cloud
• Design and implement enterprise-grade monitoring, configuration management and reporting platforms
• Define and document best practices and support procedures
• Provide occasional after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance actions
• Maintain asset inventory and configuration documentation
• Assist with hardware and software vendor/platform evaluation, recommendation, and negotiations

What You'll Need
• Experience in IT Systems administration/engineering supporting 500 or more users
• Advanced experience managing Office 365, Exchange Online and other cloud services
• Extensive experience in Identity Management (Azure AD Premium preferred)
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Active Directory (AD & Azure AD, Azure AD Domain Services), IIS, server configurations, TCP/IP stack configuration and troubleshooting
• Advanced experience with cloud-based SaaS integrations
• Extensive experience with a wide variety of Azure cloud PaaS and SaaS solutions
• Experience developing scripts to automate repetitive tasks and simplify management (Powershell, Python, Javascript)
• Experience working in a variety of command-line interfaces such as Windows/Azure Powershell, CMD, Linux Shell, Azure Shell, Aruba CLI
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2016/2019) /desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10 & MacOS) (required) Experience with virtualization technologies like HyperV and VMware vCenter and ESXi
• Experience with MS Exchange Online and enterprise configuration
• Advanced analytical, leadership, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills.
• Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in a complex enterprise environment
• Uses sound judgment when making decisions and dealing with others
• Ability to accept direction and developmental guidance from supervisor
• Ability to work with individuals at all levels.
• Ability to work overtime/extended hours as required
