Job Description
UTA is seeking a Manager, Accounting, who will be responsible for the monthly accounting general ledger close for various subsidiaries of UTA. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, has high attention to detail, is a team player and excels in a fast-paced work environment. This hybrid role is based in our Beverly Hills, CA office.
The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
• Manage the month-end close process, including but not limited to, preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations for various UTA subsidiaries
• Assist with annual audit and quarterly/monthly reporting requirements
• Manage, mentor, train and develop accounting support staff
• Prepare and review various monthly analytical reporting and fluctuation analyses
• Responsible for maintaining general accounting close process documentation
• Help with accounting integration of new business units and newly acquired companies
• Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses, as requested
• Help drive process improvements through on-going evaluation of current procedures
• Assist with special projects as needed
What You Will Need
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree, and have active CPA license.
• 6+ years of relevant accounting experience, including public and private accounting
• NetSuite knowledge a plus
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP)
• Experience building and improving accounting processes, controls and systems
• Experience with financial & enterprise systems and prior experience with general ledger entries.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to communicate with professionals at all levels
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
