Job Description
United Talent Agency seeks a results-driven Director, Accounting responsible for the review of the monthly financial results and related financial accounting processes of our consolidated investments and acquisition including KLUTCH Sports Group, MediaLink, and Digital Brand Architects, at a corporate level during a period of tremendous growth and beyond. Based in Los Angeles, and reporting to the Global Controller, this role will be responsible for providing best in class accounting and reporting process for UTA's consolidated investments. The successful candidate will have experience with managing the monthly close process while ensuring accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles in the United States (US GAAP) as well as the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Additionally, the opportunity will oversee the coordination of internal and external accounting, financial reporting, governance, and control related activities post acquisition/divestiture. This position will also be a liaison with our Corporate Strategy team during the diligence phase of the investment lifecycle.

What You Will Do
• Oversee the the consolidation of acquired subsidiaries' monthly financial results to ensure compliance with US GAAP and all corporate policies
• Prepare and facilitate a review of financial results with the executive management team
• Review all related monthly close deliverables including reconciliations for accuracy
• Oversee and help develop accounting staff
• Collaborate with various departments during the integration phase of acquisitions with an emphasis on financial reporting and related processes
• Manage and support internal and external audit efforts
• Assess the effectiveness of current business processes and implement solutions to enhance consolidation process to the overall close process
• Participate during the accounting diligence and integration of acquisition targets
• Collaborate with the Technical Accounting team during the acquisition process including analysis of purchase price accounting under US GAAP.

What You Will Need
• Minimum 10+ total years of relevant accounting experience including consolidation experience, strong familiarity with US GAAP, and IFRS, along with experience in both public and private accounting (Big 4 experience a plus)
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred
• Thorough understanding of US GAAP and the ability to research technical issues (US GAAP and IFRS)
• Experience with the revenue recognition standard (ASC 606) is a plus
• Experience with accounting for business combinations (ASC 805) is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• Experience with NetSuite preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
