Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals for the role of Senior Compliance specialist who are passionate about new technologies and hardware in the gaming industry. Individuals with 4+ years of experience on gaming consoles and other relevant platforms, who like to drive initiatives, can motivate team members, and quickly adapt with changing times.

For your core job roles, you will be responsible for ensuring our games meet first party requirements and standards and help the Production team with implementation of these standards while meeting the set deadlines. You will plan tests with efficient execution based on different milestones while ensuring proper task allocation for team members. Ensure accurate bug reporting in day to day tests and send timely reports to Production teams.

Job responsibilities :

Core Responsibilities
• Ability to plan and execute tests based on game's scope and latest first party standards.
• Develop and maintain expertise about 1st party policies and guidelines.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge about 1st party tools, storefronts and portals.
• Ensure accurate daily and weekly reports with proper details on the projects.
• Guides & helps juniors within the team to optimize their work practices and work towards being efficient.
• Keep a track of the progress of tests through the day and ensure that all deliverables meet the deadlines without any compromise on quality.
• Good understanding of gaming industry, current trends and features related to new gen hardware and different genres of games.
• Ability to analyze/review game's design & flow to suggest best practices and implementation methods to align with first party standards.
• Identify training needs for team members, QC and Dev Teams and work with the manager to setup the same.

Technical Knowledge:
• Strong knowledge of console hardware and features with good troubleshooting skills.
• Strong knowledge of 1st party testing tools and product configuration.
• Strong understanding of 1st party policies, requirements, and testing methods.
• Good awareness about different teams involved on a project for development and tests including specialized test teams.

Communication:
• Ability to communicate efficiently with 1st party stakeholders, Release management teams and Production Stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to grasp and convey complex product requirements or technical concepts.
• Good written communication skills and negotiation skills in order to raise waiver/exception requests with 1st parties' stakeholders
• Ability to raise issues and communicate risks in reports and weekly calls with stakeholders

Core Competencies:
• Should be able to handle projects autonomously with minimal to no supervision.
• Anticipate risks and come up with viable solutions.
• Excellent mentoring and leadership skills
• Passionate about Video Games (Thorough knowledge of video game genres and different factors that drive gaming experiences).
• 4+ years of Compliance testing experience with comprehensive knowledge about SDLC.

Technical Competencies:
• Strong Knowledge of gaming industry and new technologies.
• Excellent skills & hands on experience of using any defect tracking tool (JIRA, Dev Track, Bug Zilla etc.) and utilizes the same to keep updated with the project issues (Advanced Jira & Jira Rich Filter).
• Excellent knowledge of 1st party tools used for consoles.
• Well acquainted with MS Office and helps troubleshoot problems faced by Juniors and assist team by creating MS office templates that can be reused.
• Strong knowledge & ability to execute 1st party compliance tests.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience on gaming consoles and other relevant platforms. Good Knowledge of new gen consoles would be an added advantage.
