WarnerMedia seeks a Manager for the Business Operations – BR department.

The Manager of Business Operations & Strategy plays a critical role in supporting strategic, operational, and organizational initiatives within Turner Sports revenue and WarnerMedia Sports revenue as a whole (i.e. Bleacher Report). This person will work with Turner Sports senior leadership and key stakeholders throughout the entire media sales + marketing operations lifecycle: strategy, planning, execution, goal measurement, and ensuring accountability.

The Daily
• Work closely with revenue department leadership, serving as a proactive stakeholder who ensures all strategic initiatives run smoothly. Partner with leaders to clarify and communicate strategic goals to managers and teams responsible for planning and execution.
• Coordinate and regularly attend planning meetings to support and ensure consistency of project planning, taking the lead on identifying clear action items, milestones, goals, deadlines and project owners/collaborators.
• Partner closely with project/initiative owners to ensure all deliverables are understood, moving forward as expected, and on target for completion. Keep all relevant stakeholders looped in on essential communication and ensure the right people are connected to each other.
• Coordinate with leaders tasked with planning and execution to establish measurable team and individual goals that align with the company's overall strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the other areas of the organization to ensure that processes and communication workflows operate as they're designed to, optimizing for efficiency as needed.
• Foster and maintain a culture of accountability and forward progress, setting a positive example for other leaders to follow across the organization.

Types of Work
• Day-to-Day Operations: maintain/build processes to ensure that existing assembly lines (communication flows, supply chains, etc.) are operating as they are intended to; and where necessary, that they're operating as efficiently as possible

• Project & Process Management: identify and build new processes that orient around creating alignment and achieving business objectives; support our partners across the business with clear action items, timelines and milestones, project plans, and ultimately accountability


The Essentials
• 6+ years of related experience in project management, media buying/sales, sponsorship marketing/partnerships, or a demonstrable track record of leveraging similar experience or skill sets in other areas
• Intimate familiarity with the linear and digital media sales industry
• Exceptional organization skills and ability to multitask
• Outstanding relationship-building skills; able to motivate senior and junior staff
• Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible in adapting to change
• Exceptional written; verbal communication skills
• Ability to read, analyze; interpret complex documents/data relating to the business; identify trends and apply principles of logical thinking to a range of intellectual and practical problems
• Proficient in basic computer modules, especially Google Drive, Microsoft Office
• Bachelor's degree within a relevant field
