POSITION SUMMARY

Trailer Park Group is looking for an experienced and skilled Business Affairs Manager to join their Business Affairs team. The ideal candidate would have an excellent working knowledge of all things business affairs, especially knowledge about live-action and commercial production, with a particular focus on talent and production workflows as well as insurance coverage and COIs. The position will require initiative, agility, a desire to take on a diverse array of projects/productions, a team-oriented approach, and effective internal and external communication.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Review client and vendor production agreements.
• Negotiate and draft on-camera and off-camera union and non-union talent compensation, usage, and renewal terms.
• Participate in project scoping discussions, providing Producers and client teams with estimates using the Extreme Reach platform for session fees, usage, residuals, and all other talent-related production costs.
• Review and assess storyboards/scripts, rough cuts, and final creative for legal or clearance concerns.
• Create session reports, review holding fee notifications, and issue talent advice for usage and TORs in compliance with SAG-AFTRA.
• Review talent invoices, reconcile with purchase orders and process payments.
• Work with the insurance broker to analyze insurance needs, manage COIs, etc.
• Advise the internal team on union rules, regulations, and best practices.
• Work closely with the company's finance division.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Minimum Bachelor's degree required
• Extreme Reach platform experience very important
• Excellent at maintaining confidentiality
• A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Live Action Commercial Production/Talent Management/Business Affairs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage stressful situations with a good sense of humor
• Ability to review and negotiate agreements from simple to complex
• Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a team-based environment
• Capacity to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Experience in traditional media, social, and digital distribution channels
• Experience in drafting releases, licenses, contracts, and amendments
• Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office, including TEAMS and SharePoint, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Analytical and observational skills to provide quick and common-sense recommendations

Annual base pay range for this position is below. If your requirements fall outside of the below pay range, we still encourage you to apply.

$110,000 - $130,000 USD
