THE ROLE

We are seeking an Analyst in our Corporate Accounting department to work within a team over external reporting functions.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Reference SEC filings, Earnings Releases and other documents to Oracle financial system reports and other supporting documentation
• Foot and cross-foot all tabular data and recalculate all percentage calculations in SEC filings, Earnings Releases and other documents as applicable
• Assist with the preparation of schedules to support financial statements, footnotes and other disclosures in SEC filings
• Assist with the preparation of Forms 10Q, 10K and other SEC filings utilizing Workiva Wdesk
• Assist with XBRL tagging and review of Forms 10Qs and 10Ks in Workiva Wdesk
• Roll and distribute quarterly disclosure certifications from SVPs and COOs in the company using Workiva Wdesk
• Distribute and consolidate the quarterly disclosure package for contractual commitments and related party activity with divisions
• Conduct annual testing of the contractual commitments and related parties with divisions
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual US Government filings to US Census Bureau
• Work with internal and external auditors and provide requested supporting documentation
• Execute effective internal control procedures and maintain compliance with SOX requirements
• Assist with special projects as needed

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Master's degree in Accounting preferred
• Actively seeking CPA certification desired
• One year of accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience with Workiva Wdesk and XBRL tagging a plus
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting and/or SEC rules and regulations a plus
• Detail-oriented, organized and ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
