THE ROLE

The Oracle Financials Functional Lead position is a key role, focused on leading the key customer initiatives related to the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of Oracle Cloud ERP (GL, FA, Projects), Cloud EPM (FCC, ARCS, EDMC) modules among others, to drive finance transformation and innovation.

The role focuses heavily in working with the accounting and finance leadership, subject matter experts in initiating, planning, monitoring, and controlling their finance transformation

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Provide primary level of support to Oracle Cloud ERP applications for customers in North America across the financials modules.
• Lead the hands-on configuration in Oracle Financials (GL, FA, Projects, FCC, ARCS, EDMC) and work with key stakeholders to ensure configurations are in alignment with business requirements.
• Engage and actively participate in ongoing Oracle Cloud Financials implementation project.
• Lead assessment, design, implementation, and deployment of Oracle Financials modules to newly acquired companies.
• Partner with customers business stakeholders to execute all phases of the implementation lifecycle – requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Architect solution options considering Oracle Financials' capabilities to address business requirements and business pain points.
• Ensure high quality and value-added documentation of functional and technical solution design for review, update, and approval for implementation.
• Plan and coordinate the development activities of custom solutions across Reports, Integrations, Conversions, and Extensions

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• 10+ years prior experience with Oracle ERP Financials
• 3+ years prior experience with Oracle Cloud Financials, with 2-3 full-lifecycle implementations is required.
• Ability to perform SQL queries and have knowledge of backend table structures.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and knowledge
• Excellent communications skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and high-pressure situations.
• Self-driven to achieve the highest standards of service, implementation excellence, and on-time delivery.
