Job Description
As the Label Manager, Latin Music, your role is crucial in ensuring our clients' label releases are launched effectively in the market. You will keep our clients up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the latin music industry, including best practices and retail strategies. Owning and maintaining solid relationships with our clients and their team is essential to achieving our objectives. This role reports to the Associate Director of Label Management and is based in our Miami, Florida office.
What you'll do
• Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned roster of Latin Music partners, fostering productive relationships while overseeing all aspects of the music distribution process. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day supply chain activities, guiding digital distribution strategy, executing promotional campaigns for priority releases, and providing operational support across their catalog while serving as an advocate for your client's needs within the company.
• Manage complex digital set-ups, collaborating with various teams at The Orchard to ensure our labels' audio and video catalogs are effectively delivered, claimed, and monetized.
• Manage priority release campaign logistics, communicating campaign efforts across teams to ensure all relevant parties are fully informed on new releases and campaign strategy.
• Collaborate with labels and internal departments as needed to help create and execute new release and catalog development plans.
• Liaise with all internal departments, including finance, marketing, and legal to meet business needs.
• Continuously interpret data, and propose solutions and optimization to labels and artists to ensure that the label remains competitive in the music industry by utilizing internal marketing and data analytics tools to guide and support strategic decisions for marketing and sales goals.
• Attend artist shows after work hours as necessary.
Who you are
• At least 3 years of experience in project or campaign management
• Proven track record of success in managing labels or clients
• Excellent communication (both in Spanish and English) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with artists, labels, and other key partners
• Highly advanced organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize to tight deadlines.
• Expertise using content management systems and digital metadata across a variety of genres.
• Excellent knowledge of the digital space, including music retail, analytics and social media, with an ability to adapt to a constantly changing landscape.
• Extensive knowledge of the music industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities
