JOB SUMMARY: The Account Specialist, Partnership Marketing position is responsible for the day-to-day management, execution, and activation of assigned partnership accounts and relationships. This role must provide excellent customer service, assist partners with innovative activations, and assist the Partnership Sales staff in creating effective marketing programs for current and future partners.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of sponsorship deliverables to ensure all contractual obligations are met, including signage, promotions, digital content, hospitality, and community programs.
• Work closely with Partnership Sales team to help manage day-to-day communication with partners, providing timely updates, recaps, and reports.
• Coordinate and assist with partner activations on game days and at special events, ensuring smooth execution and positive partner experiences.
• Work with other internal departments (e.g., Marketing, Community Relations, Digital, Game Presentation) to ensure partnership elements are integrated seamlessly.
• Assist the overall sales process in the partnerships department. This includes the creation of sales proposals, recap decks, and other internal documents.
• Collect and organize documentation (photos, screenshots, metrics) for sponsorship proof of performance. Create detailed recap reports that highlight the value delivered to each partner.
• Provide on-site support during home games and partner events, often requiring evening and weekend availability.
• Provide sales support and customer service as directed by corporate management.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
• All other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college.
• Must have knowledge of Word, Excel, Photoshop, etc.
• Attention to detail.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills needed.
• Previous experience working with clients is a plus.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Passion for successful event execution.
