Job Description
• Produce, write, and edit content in both languages across broadcast, digital, and social platforms
• Line-produce newscasts or content streams, building rundowns and ensuring smooth execution from start to finish
• Collaborate with assignment desk, reporters, anchors, managers, and digital teams to plan and deliver daily coverage
• Write clear, accurate, and engaging scripts, headlines, and copy that connect with multilingual audiences
• Translate and adapt content to maintain accuracy, tone, and cultural relevance
• Contribute story ideas and participate in editorial meetings, helping shape coverage decisions
• Monitor breaking news and adjust rundowns and scripts in real time, maintaining composure in high-pressure situations
• Edit video and incorporate graphics to enhance storytelling across platforms
• Maintain strong awareness of local and national news, with a deep understanding of the Philadelphia market
• Ensure all content meets journalistic standards for accuracy, fairness, and credibility

Qualifications
• Must be bilingual with fluency in English and Spanish , with strong written and verbal communication skills in both
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Proven ability to write, edit, and produce content under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and editorial standards
• Willingness to join AFTRA as this position may be covered by the AFTRA collective bargaining agreement
• Experience line-producing newscasts
• Experience editing content on a desktop editing system
• Ability to make priority decisions under a deadline
• Strong ability to deliver news as it is developing on all platforms
• Team player mentality
• Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
