KING KONG New Day Northwest is looking for an experienced video producer to create shareable content for television, social media and mobile. New Day Northwest, hosted by Kelly Hanson, is Western Washington's number 1 morning talk show. From the Northwest's trending topics to the hottest products, Western Washington turns to New Day Northwest for a daily dose of what makes living here so unique. It's a lifestyle show that's always fresh, local and unpredictable. It's where celebrities, top chefs, entertainers, authors, local doctors and lifestyle experts come to share their passion through in-depth conversation and demonstration.
Our ideal candidate also knows their way around a video camera and has a mind for producing unique and exciting content. The video producer reports to the Senior Producer.

Responsibilities:
In This Role, You Will
• Edit New Day Northwest every morning and oversee sending segments to broadcast
• Edit video for segment Producers
• Create native video and convert broadcast video for digital platforms, including social, streaming and mobile app
• Produce and edit sponsored content
• Shoot video
• Write for both broadcast and digital platforms
• Collaborate with producers and hosts Local Programming on content
• Attend daily editorial meetings and pitch story ideas
• Perform other tasks as needed
Requirements:
• 2+ years of video editing and shooting experience.
• Proficiency in social media.
• Ability to consistently turn out high quality work under daily pressure deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make quick decisions and work independently.
• Must be flexible with schedule, reliable and dependable.
• Valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
Pay Range
$27.89 - $29.81 USD
