TEGNA's Seattle-based NBC affiliate, KING 5 is The Home Team to some of the best media professionals in Seattle and in the nation. Our team is now looking for a creative, forward-thinking Sponsorships & Strategic Partner Manager. In this role, you will be the KING5 sales team's contact point and responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships for sponsorship opportunities.
You will also partner with the KING sales and marketing managers to implement current and new sponsorships through local programming, sports partnerships, and content marketing. Your responsibility will be to drive remarkable results for advertisers using the integrated suite of media platforms TEGNA has to offer to ensure their goals are achieved.
Pay Range is $100,000 - $150,000 and is determined based on experience.
What you will do:
• Represent KING 5 Media Group with premier clients, both local and national, and create new opportunities to grow their business.
• Lead cross-departmental teams to develop and execute large scale projects and sponsorships from brainstorming, campaign strategy, and presentation development to execution, fulfillment recaps, and renewals.
• Leverage sports initiatives, to support sales growth and potential growth opportunities.
• Establish solid relationships with new partners through networking, outreach, and current contacts.
• Propose, build, and support sales efforts around current and new sponsorships including local programming (IE New Day & Evening), Sports partnerships and content marketing.
• Network and prospect for new sponsorship clientele.
• Collaborate with leadership team in creating revenue opportunities in large scale events, such as the Superbowl, Olympics and local programming.

Job Requirements:
What we need:
• 5 years of experience working in a role that is client facing, marketing, or sports advertising.
• Must have a strong understanding of OTT and how it supports client growth through direct and creative measures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to transition between individual and team projects in an evolving industry.
• Understand the nuances of traditional and new business verticals such as sports franchises, automotive, healthcare and technology.
• Strong presenter and communicator with internal and external customers and partners.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Wide Orbit and CRM tools.
