Job Description

97.1 The Fan in Columbus is looking for a full-time producer. The role entails generating topics, guest booking, topic development and running audio sound board for live shows and sporting events. Ideal candidates should also have digital audio and video editing abilities and along with computer proficiency.

Responsibilities:
• Produce a daily sports-talk show
• Scheduling guests and live interviews
• Researching broadcast topics
• Protecting the station's FCC license
• Running audio board for talk shows and live sporting events
• Providing creative input on broadcast elements
• Contributing to social media and website updates
• Flexibility and on-the-spot problem solving abilities
• Sports Updates and fill-in hosting
• Other duties as assigned
97.1 The Fan is one of the top sportsradio stations in America and is the flagship station for the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Columbus Blue Jackets. Additionally, The Fan is central Ohio's home of The NFL and The NCAA Tournament from Westwood One and Columbus' home of ESPN Radio.
