Job Description
WOI/KCWI-TV, A TEGNA Company, is seeking a full-time creative Lifestyle Producer/Local Sales Assistant. The ideal candidate is someone with a unique blend of producing skills for our Local Lifestyle Show, along with solid administrative, computer and sales support experience.

As a producer, you will work closely with the Iowa Live Hosts to help them develop engaging and informative segments. On the Sales Support Specialist side, you will work closely with Account Executives and Managers to assist in the key aspects of the sales process, including being a good steward of client business. You must be detail oriented and be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. This role is essential as it connects the Sales Organization to TEGNA's clients.

Responsibilities:
• Daily interaction with agencies and station clients.
• Develop, book, and produce unique and engaging daily segments for Iowa Live.
• Formatting/Stacking of show rundown and line producing live show.
• Write and post daily sow content of all digital platforms including social media.
• Cross train to provide back up support for other sales, traffic, and administrative duties.
• Pull reports, including pre-logs, post-logs, invoices, late-runs, audience delivery/post-buy analysis reports.
• Work closely with Sales Team to facilitate business in a timely manner
• Cross train to provide back up support for other sales, traffic, administrative, and other station personnel.
• Coordinate sales project merchandising and promotional support.
• Organize departmental and station functions.
• Providing additional administrative duties as requested.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Job Requirements:
• Must have computer and software experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Effective Communicator and ability to work with various departments.
• Experience with Edius & Adobe Photoshop preferred.
• Preferred experience with industry-specific software such as WideOrbit, ComScore, Monarch/Matrix.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment while managing multiple projects.
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Capable of learning new systems promptly and thoroughly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be highly focused, organized, accurate and detail oriented.
• Adaptable to deal with the daily pressures associated with commercial television sales.
• College Degree preferred.
• Media Industry is a plus.

Travel: Rarely: less than 10%

Physical Demands Set: Light work: Involves sitting most of the time, walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
