We are now looking for an Animation Supervisor to join our recently created stand-alone division Technicolor Games, who will lead Team Leaders responsible for expediting high quality character and creature animation
You'll partner with the Department Head to deliver the highest quality animation and their team identify, solve problems both artistically and technically. Partners with HOD, working towards futuristic goals and contributing towards expanding the business.
Qualifications
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in the Games animation industry working on Gameplay and Cinematics for AAA Game titles.
• Strong command over the fundamentals in animating the human bipedal figure, creatures as well as other organic and mechanic forms.
• Partners with Studio leadership teams involves in resource planning, provide estimations for animation tasks.
• Thorough understanding of realistic body mechanics and facial animation.
• Has experience managing teams and working with production in making schedules and meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with experience in handling client calls and presentations.
• Proven technical and leadership capabilities
• Good understanding of Camera, lens, cinematography and composition rules.
• Possess scene planning abilities by shooting self-acting videos and collecting appropriate references to guide the team.
• Exceptional organizational skills understand how to prioritize tasks and guide their Team leads.
Technical skills
• Should be fluent in the use of Maya, Motionbuilder and other supporting software and tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to overcome technical difficulties.
Any of the following experience is a great advantage
• Familiarity with Faceware, Dynamixyz or any other Facial pipeline tool.
• A good knowledge working with Unreal, Unity or similar game engines.
• Familiarity with the usuage of 3DS Max.
