Summary of Position

STARZ is seeking an Executive Director, Strategic Growth & Commercial Strategy who will be an exceptional addition to our international team. The Executive Director, Strategic Growth & Commercial Strategy will be the individual contributor responsible for developing our subscriber growth strategy across third-party distribution partnerships in the UK and Latin America with the goal of optimizing subscriber acquisition and retention using performance marketing channels and promotional tactics. Additionally, the Executive Director will work across the executive team to refine the overall commercial strategy for LIONSGATE+ through a combination of data-driven insights and business judgment. The right person for this role combines a strategic mindset with analytical acumen, creative intuition, and an in-depth understanding of how to grow digital subscription businesses.

Responsibilities
• Develop, communicate, and refine the growth strategy across the LIONSGATE+ business, including portfolio pricing, bundling discounts, packaging strategy, targeted evergreen deals, and limited time offers, and marketing allocations

• Create marketing mix models and frameworks to make key budgeting decisions and maximize operational efficiency of our media spend

• Help set ambitious near- and long-term subscriber growth goals for LIONSGATE+ and define the optimal path to achieve those goals, considering LIONSGATE+'s variety of distribution channels and content portfolio

• Collaborate with stakeholders across STARZ who are responsible for implementing the growth tactics, including sr. executives on the Media, Direct-to-Consumer, Partner Marketing, and Distribution teams

• Oversee strategy for growth partnerships to maximize subscriber growth and retention through paid and earned campaigns, strategic partnerships and promotional offers

• Work cross-functionally to develop business insights that uncover subscriber growth levers and opportunities across the team

• Identify market and operational risks and dependencies for these growth

• Prepare and present key growth initiatives and post-mortem analysis across campaigns and growth levers inclusive of future recommendation to executive leadership

Qualifications & Skills
• 7+ years work experience; prior experience with subscription business models a must

• 2+ years consulting or corporate strategy and/or investment banking experience

• Strong communication and presentation skills that enable you to break down complex concepts and findings into concise, substantive recommendations

• Best in class analytic and quantitative skills

• Willingness to make calculated risks and take accountability of outcomes

• MBA a plus

Compensation

$172,463 - $218,400
