Summary of Position

The Coordinator, Human Resources supports the Human Resources department at Starz. The role will handle a variety of departmental duties that support the employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding.

Responsibilities
• Answer phones, schedule meetings, complete travel & expense for SVP and HRBPs

• Manage all incoming temp requests for day-of and advanced coverage

• Process departmental invoices

• Create termination packets and schedule exit interviews; send term packets to remote employees in advance and coordinate with payroll to obtain the final check in time

• Process employee status forms (ESF) and corresponding letters for promotions and transfers

• Assist with the onboarding of all new hires and new hire orientation process; create and manage employee files

• Schedule and track 30/60/90 day check-ins with HR during employee orientation period and assist in flagging any issues as needed

• Handle incoming Consultant requests & manage lifecycle which includes inputting into employee database and processing invoices

• Process Unemployment claims & handle outplacement services

• Create and update organizational charts as needed

• Assist with employee engagement initiatives and events

• Generate routine and ad-hoc reports

• Answer general HR questions for employees as needed

Qualifications & Skills
• 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, customer service or related field is preferred

• An approachable demeanor and strong motivation to go above and beyond what is asked

• Capability to multitask and handle multiple projects/tasks with competing deadlines

• Excellent interpersonal and computer skills; strong written and verbal communication

• Ability to be resourceful and problem solve quickly and under pressure

• Ability to take direction well from multiple people and work alongside a remote team

• A bachelor's degree is preferred
