Spotify is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Global SMB Sales Operations team! The focus of the Sales Operations team is increasing business growth and performance by being the objective, trusted partner to the Sales Leadership. As a Senior Analyst you will be responsible for the strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence of Spotify's SMB team whose focus is driving revenue growth for small to medium size businesses. This role reports into the Global Sales Ops Sr Manager and will work closely with SMB Sales Leadership, FP&A, Product and Marketing. You will use your critical thinking and analytical skills to provide data driven insights, implement strategic initiatives and build/refine operational processes to optimize for scaled support and customer acquisition.

What You'll Do
• Implement sales planning, forecasting, and goal setting methodologies for the fast-evolving and sophisticated SMB segment of our business. This will include developing customer segmentation methodologies, revenue targets and distributed sales coverage plans.
• Analyze sales, support, and marketing treatments for segments of SMB advertisers and recommend updates accordingly. Includes establishing critical metrics to guide sales behaviors and evaluate progress as well as utilizing external market intelligence and internal data to identify areas of market opportunity.
• Own the SMB dataset, understand nuances, identify and implement improvements, and build visualizations to guide business decisions.
• Identify, drive and support project rollouts for new tools and process changes to increase the efficiency of our SMB sales teams and/or drive revenue growth. This includes developing collaborative relationships with key partners across Spotify and representing SMB or Sales Operations in cross-functional discussions and projects.
• Support the Quarterly and Annual Planning & Achievement processes as they relate to sales budgets, markets analysis and quotas and any analysis for planning sessions or ad hoc requests on behalf of the sales leadership.

Who You Are
• You have 3+ years of digital media experience in an analytical role with a proven track record of outstanding partnerships with Sales, Support, Marketing and other cross-functional teams.
• You have experience driving SMB sales operations processes and strategies for a global or multinational sales organization
• You have a solid understanding of CRM systems, such as Salesforce and the overall sales stack of tools that drive efficiency
• You have strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to determine trends and propose solutions with a strong proficiency with spreadsheet analytical skills
• You have worked with Tableau CRM (or another BI tool) connecting to multiple data sources and creating reports and dashboards (experience with SQL preferred)
• You are a creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• You have excellent communication and Interpersonal skills with experience developing and presenting business and technical content to peers and other audiences
• You have excellent collaboration skills working with multiple departments and individuals to reach common solutions that serve revenue growth
• You are inquisitive and challenge the effectiveness of current processes and procedures

Where You'll Be
• For this role there will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come into NYC office 1 time per week.

The United States base range for this position is $83,439-$119,198, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Salary Range: $83,439 to $119,198 Per Year ($ USD)
