Supervisor Ad Sales Services

The person in this role is responsible for providing accurate and timely advertiser relevant information including historic sales information and advertiser insights, as well as for alerting the sales team of inventory situations and ordering issues. The Supervisor is responsible for communicating key programming changes, and heightening awareness of SPT offer including special sales opportunities that will aid those offices to selling success. Also, the person in this role will facilitate and participate all required post-sales coordination of buys. The Supervisor, Advertiser Services reports directly to the Executive Director, Advertiser Sales Services based in Miami while working with and giving support to the local Manager, Advertiser Services and the Content Service Manager based in their territory. In addition to all the external stakeholders (i.e. advertisers and representatives), this position will closely collaborate will internal SPT departments such as Creative Services, Traffic Operations, Channel Operations, Finance, Trade Marketing and IT.

Core Responsibilities
• Ad Sales Office Support-3rd Party Sales Office(s) and Sony Owned and Operated LATAM Offices:
Also, closely involved in supporting the education of those sales teams regarding SPT opportunities that lead to selling success. Day-to-day will reactively and proactively support assigned sales office(s) in responding to requests and servicing their active accounts.
• Channel Activity Understanding and Promotion: Must stay current with what is happening with our properties, across a broad range covering content to operations and everything in between. Also, maintain a high level of competency on the tools required to be effective in the role, and understand all relevant processes and procedures. In addition to understanding they will proactively support promoting opportunities to relevant audiences through offering support in package development.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• 5+ years of Ad Sales experience within the media industry is required
• Native territory language (read and write). Fluent English, Spanish is a plus.
• Understanding of the SPT Sales Process. In depth knowledge of all things SPT pertaining to selling advertising on the SPT channels. Beyond understanding, they need to be highly focused on details regarding all activities undertaken to be as effective as possible and deliver expectations. Strong interpersonal skills that support building an effective relationship with clients/prospects, colleagues and vendors.
• Knowledge of Pay TV and Advertising Marketplace. Must have a solid knowledge of the industry, changing business dynamics, ability to identify relevant strengths/weaknesses and direct relationships with key agency leaders and advertisers.
• Understanding of the Sales Process and Role of Sales Offices. In depth selling know how is critical to properly manage the sales process, conflicts, and service those teams for success. Strong interpersonal skills that support building an effective relationship with clients/prospects, colleagues, and vendors.
• A ''Cool Under Pressure'' Personality is necessary, as the characteristics of the job will place the Supervisor in all sorts of situations internally with the staff and externally with the representatives and advertisers.
• Good Communication Skills with ability to effectively listen, identifying issues/problems, objectively finding solutions while properly communicating to constituents.
