Sony Pictures Imageworks is seeking an IT Project Manager!

The IT Project Manager will lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within the organization. They will work closely with customers to gather requirements, develop project plans, and manage resources to ensure successful project completion. They will also identify and mitigate project risks, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of customers.

Responsibilities:

Primary areas of responsibility will include:
• Lead and handle the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within the organization
• Work closely with customers to gather requirements, develop project plans, and manage resources
• Identify and mitigate project risks and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of customers
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources
• Create and maintain project documentation, such as project charters, scope statements, and project timelines
• Communicate project progress, issues, and risks to customers and senior management
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion
• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and standard processes
• Continuously monitor and report on project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure project success

Preferred Skills:
• 3+ years of demonstrated ability in IT project management or a related field
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies and standard processes
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with project management software and tools
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with various operating systems and software
• PMP or other project management certification is a plus
