Global Junior Publicist

International Jr. Publicist
• Serve as main point of contact with International Territories
• Status updates and manage field requests
• Strategize global first look unit art placement in sync with domestic counterpart
• Strategize global set visit strategy along with domestic publicist
• Oversee International Long Lead press days / China Days
• Ensure materials distributed are in line with the international positioning in overseas markets / coordinate efforts with research dept.
• Work with international markets to craft international publicity talent tours.
• Manage tour Chart
• Negotiate talent tours with territories
• Solicit interview schedules and compile overall tour schedule including all markets
• Guide and work with markets to develop optimal press access
• Liaise with tour markets over premiere details and other special events
• Collaborate with Photo Editor on International photo shoots overseeing concept, shoot location, budgets and contracts
• Develop stunts / innovative ideas to garner worldwide media attention
• Planning, logistics, venues, security, risk management, press releases, field communications, wires
• Oversee international film festival strategy as well as logistics, event planning, photo calls.
• Provide materials for qualification in festivals (photos, forms, press release legal approvals, etc.)
• Collaborate with international offices on the planning of any local initiatives
• Work on providing content and access to international media (first look photos, schedule one-on-ones opportunities, etc.)
• Work with field to implement activations with local voice cast on animated films
• Negotiate available press opportunities during production & post edit bay access
• Formulate and manage the international publicity campaign budgets as part of the overall, global budget.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Must be willing to join the Publicist union.
• 4+ years relevant experience in film publicity/PR with international background required.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications or related study.
• Previous experience dealing with multiple international offices desired.
• Success in multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet research.
• Excellent writing and communication skills
