Executive Director, Post Production

Point person for the studio, shows and network. This person will have television post production and VFX knowledge. They will be a pro-active problem solver, flexible in approaching challenging scenarios and be a detailed communicator.

Responsibilities
• Collaborates with studio departments, show staffs and co-studio/network counterparts, to manage day to day of shows.
• Lay out schedules, based on co-studio/network requirements.
• Review post and VFX budgets, based on creative and schedule.
• Assist in staffing post, editorial and VFX staffs.
• Assist in hiring show staff, in collaboration with accounting teams.
• Assist in tracking post and VFX budgets, as shows move through their pipelines.
• Break down scripts for VFX, creatively and financially.
• Flag any issues for pertinent departments.

Qualifications
• 5-7 years of TV post production experience, ideally as a post production supervisor/associate producer or VFX producer.
• Knowledge of facilities and personnel in post and VFX.
• Problem solver, but knows when to flag for any relevant parties when appropriate.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $128,100 to $171,300. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
