Director, WW Television Distribution FP&A, Cash

The Director, Distribution FP&A is a key member of the Worldwide Distribution FP&A team and is responsible for the forecasting and analysis of Worldwide Distribution cash flow, including international TV Distribution, International Home Entertainment, and Consolidation of WWD cash flow. This role reports to the VP, Worldwide Distribution Central Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own the Cash forecasting for Worldwide Distribution (WWD), including the budget, quarterly reforecasts, and mid-range plan; gain insights on WWD cash flow, summarize and share with senior executives
• Define the process, set timelines and scope, create deliverables, and ensure efficiency and effectiveness across multiple constituents within SPE
• Collaborate with the Domestic Distribution finance team to consolidate the WWD cash forecast
• Own the International Distribution and International Home Entertainment cash forecasts; build, maintain, and update international cash forecasting models
• Collaborate with the accounting team to support monthly close analysis of WWD cash flow; incorporate actuals information improve accuracy of forecasts
• Partner with other with Production finance divisions (Motion Picture Finance, TV Production Finance) to ensure that WWD cash flow forecasts are accurately reflected in a timely manner
• Build relationships with other teams (international WWD finance, Order to Cash, Sales Planning) to gain commercial insights to improve accuracy of cash forecasts
• Lead supporter of Sony Picture's Three Week Forecast ambitions for cash, including the development of new processes, and driving new planning and consolidation tools
• Develop, recommend, implement, and improve processes related to general WWD forecasting and analysis
• Develop reporting/dashboards to enable executive insight and updates

QUALIFICATIONS
• 10+ years of experience, supported by at least a Bachelor's degree
• Extensive experience of budgeting, forecasting, planning, and analysis
• Experience with cash receipts, disbursements, and direct and indirect cash flow statements
• Entertainment / Media / Television Distribution experience preferred
• Fluency in Excel and PowerPoint is a necessity; Analytics tools experience like Power BI a plus
• Multinational, matrix experience with large-scale multi-currency ERP systems preferred

The anticipated base salary for this position is $142,200 - $190,200. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
