Coordinator, TV Mastering

The Coordinator, TV Mastering role will liaise directly with productions, vendors, and internal/external stakeholders to administer/supervise/track/coordinate and manufacture distribution masters/content for Sony's distribution pipelines. This candidate will need to continually enhance, retain & improve their knowledge through on-the-job experience and systems training. Attend necessary technical and process informational sessions.

Responsibilities
• Facilitate the day-to-day activities of manufacturing and servicing to ensure that materials (video, audio, subtitles, closed caption files, etc.) are delivered per client's requests as well as ingested into the company's distribution system
• Maintain all servicing activity on a designated tracking system to track status of clients' delivery. Troubleshoot issues such as, but not limited to, rejections, late deliveries & spec questions, find solutions and present to Department Manager
• Tracking production schedules, 4k/HD video & audio source deliveries, quality control (QC), file encoding, & digital delivery to internal stakeholders
• Provide a high level of customer service, including prompt, helpful and proactive clarification of issues and status
• The candidate will be fiscally responsible and ensure Purchase Orders are created correctly and on time
• Schedule in-person and virtual meetings with internal/external stakeholders, productions, and vendors

Participate in meetings while also taking detailed notes of the topics being discussed
• Advise company stakeholders and internal/external vendors on fulfillment of materials. When fulfillment issues arise, find solutions and present to manager
• Responsible for inputting metadata into the company's digital distribution systems, including but not limited to Picture, Audio and Closed Captioned/Subtitle content
• Assist with special projects and review of standard operating procedures

Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in TV mastering or similar mastering or post-production environment
• Must have excellent communication skills – written and spoken
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize within a global/fast-paced environment
• Flexibility in working hours due to many of our productions being overseas and off-site
• Self Starter/organized
• Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, VISIO, etc...)
• High level of verbal communication/presenting skills, active Listening & self-awareness
• Familiarity with inventory systems, corporate tools/applications TEAMS, ONE NOTE, organization tools

The anticipated base salary for this position is $55,000 to $64,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
