Associate Manager, Digital Distribution
The Associate Manager, Digital Distribution will work with the Director, Digital Distribution to drive transactional digital film and television revenue with assigned accounts. He/She/They will support key accounts in determining retailer strategies and priorities while representing the interests and perspective of SPE's digital business. The Associate Manager will work with internal cross-functional teams on retail activations through the complete home entertainment lifecycle of film and TV product (new release and catalog) and collaborate internally to promote growth in all segments of Sony Pictures Distribution. An ideal candidate will have a passion for entertainment, a willingness to learn the business and a desire to grow within Sony.
Responsibility
1. Collaborate with the Director, Digital Account Management on various accounts with a focus on maximizing both TVOD gross profit and Sony Pictures Distribution gross profit overall.
• Monitor key title and catalog goals and performance
• Monitor compliance on agreed pricing and deal terms, and troubleshoot as needed
• Capture screenshots of on store merchandising across accounts
2. Execute new release strategies with internal cross-functional teams
• Review determined account strategies and priorities through consistent account interaction and research, and incorporate learnings into internal discussions
• Assist in planning new release activations with the Retail Marketing team
• Coordinate with internal support teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and flawless execution of new release and catalog plans
• Create and maintain monthly Title priority list
• Learn and manage promotions in our ''Commercial Tool''
• Responsible for monthly promotion submissions on various accounts
• Work in conjunction with Marketing to prioritize titles for artwork refresh and ongoing evaluation of sales and merchandising materials
3. Help manage catalog promotions for each account
• Optimize catalog revenue through short-term promotional activity and long-term strategy
• Assess strengths, weaknesses, and respective strategies of assigned and supported account
• Maintain a calendar for planning and reporting
• Monitor and correct steady-state new release and catalog pricing discrepancies to maintain optimal pricing
4. Represent the interests and perspective of SPE's digital business, both internally and externally, and be an expert on the perspective of SPE's retail partners
• Maintain an up-to-date awareness of market trends across the entire entertainment ecosystem
• Develop a knowledge of customer strategies, priorities, and financial performance
5. Craft presentations for internal-facing and customer-facing meetings
6. Provide account support on an ad-hoc basis
Job Requirements
Education, Years of Experience, Specialized Knowledge or Skills Required:
• Bachelor's degree
• Interest in Entertainment, transactional digital, account management and strategic planning
• Knowledge
• Comfortable in customer facing situations or retail environment
• Demonstrable knowledge and interest in the digital media landscape and technology

The anticipated base salary for this position is $71,000 to $90,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
