Assistant to Executive Producer, Showrunner - Sony Pictures TV Studios

Sony Pictures Television Studios is regularly looking for assistants to our showrunners/exec producers across all our shows and production locations. The EP Assistant role supports the showrunner in all matters of studio, remote, and operational daily needs. This is an ideal experience to learn the ins and outs of TV production.

We have production units across a variety of locations. Please indicate your preferred location on your resume/application. Our typical locations are Los Angeles, New York, New Orleans, Atlanta, Albuquerque, Vancouver and Toronto. Depending on the show, there may be new locations added at any time.

Role & Responsibilities
• Provide organizational and administrative support to the execs as needed, anticipating needs of the executive(s) and always being two steps ahead
• Schedule management, calendar management, communication.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Manage schedule and calls for EP
• Take word-for-word notes on calls and meetings
• Proofreading show documents before distribution
• Researching for storylines
• Being an onset liaison for the showrunner

Qualifications
• Experience is not necessary, but education and/or internship in entertainment is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Final Draft
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with hard deadlines
