Job Description
Administrative Assistant II, Global Publicity

Sony Pictures Entertainment is seeking a Publicity Assistant for the New York Global Publicity department. This role will provide support to senior executives in a fast-paced environment. Daily support includes scheduling meetings, handling calendars, coordinating travel, submitting expenses and other general clerical and administrative support. This role allows for liaising and working collaboratively with multiple Sony departments.

• Assist in collecting press breaks and distributing to team members.
• Track and process invoices for outside consulting agencies; press events and appearances.
• Service press requests in a timely manner and handle screenings for the team.
• Assist in distribution of publicity materials, including film stills and other assets.
• Assist in generating itineraries for press appearances and special events, and booking travel.
• Assist with virtual and in-person premiere screenings, press junkets and press events.

Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience.
• Strong curiosity in film, entertainment industry and overall awareness of the media industry landscape, including the latest trends and headlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including outstanding phone etiquette.
• A self-starter who is diligent, can multitask as well as meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information with a high level of discretion, sensitivity and integrity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Drive and DropBox.
• Willing to assist at events scheduled in the evenings and on weekends.
