Admin Asst II, Media & Talent Relations

Sony Pictures Entertainment is a leading creator and distributor of entertainment products, services and technology. Our global operations encompass motion picture production and distribution, television production, programming and syndication, home video acquisitions and distribution, operation of studio facilities, development of new entertainment technologies and distribution of filmed entertainment in over 70 countries.              

We are looking for a n assistant to join our media and talent relations team , supporting an SVP and VP
of TV media and talent relations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator who can anticipate the needs of the executives to keep the department on track .

Responsibilities:
• Provide organizational and administrative support to the Media & Talent Relations team
• Heavy administrative work – phones & scheduling
• Calendar & contact management
• Coordinate travel
• Expense reports, invoice tracking & processing
• Compose Talent schedules for publicity events (press days, premieres, etc.)
• Staff will work at publicity events (premieres, junkets, award shows, etc.)
• Execution & logistics for international/domestic junkets, press events, set visits, press days
• Track publicity items in magazines, editorials, trades, etc.
• Works closely and collaborates with assistants/coordinators across the company

• General knowledge of the television/entertainment industry

• Strong written and verbal skills; excellent oral (professional and friendly demeanor) and written (spelling, punctuation, grammar) communication skills
• Superb organizational and time management skills
• Proactive and thorough in their approach

Experience/Education:
• Previous administrative and organizational support for busy executive
• Exposure to a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Industry experience a plus
• Education:  B.A., B.S., or equivalent preferred
