Job Description
The Distribution Content Services (DCS) Account Manager (AM) for Global Pay & Subscription (GPS) team, is responsible for delivering full Feature and TV packages for Sony Pictures Entertainment. Deliveries can include video/audio/subtitle/artwork/trailers/metadata. The GPS Account Manager will be responsible for their assigned external clients/partners for multiple VOD (Video on Demand) accounts. This position deals heavily with both internal Sony clients, as well as external Content partners (such as Netflix, Amazon, MGM+, Hulu, Starz, Max, Roku, YouTube and more). Specific responsibilities include client and vendor management, materials research, troubleshooting of delivery issues as well as asset/source rejections, placing orders/writing POs for asset creation and delivery, tracking deliveries via internal systems, updating systems with delivery confirmations, and onboarding new clients for HD and 4k (HDR and SDR) deliveries.

The AM position requires a self-motivated, highly organized, fast working, team-player who can problem-solve and think critically about the product and workflow. The AM should be able to effectively prioritize an abundance of work to use time efficiently and meet hard deadlines. The AM will be asked to work on special projects, when required, on top of their regular duties. This position works very closely with internal DCS teams to manage deliveries to shared clients between other LOBs. As well as internal Mastering teams to align on the availability of source masters for all Sony Pictures Entertainment titles.

In-Depth Knowledge of:
• Video, audio, subtitle digital file formats/codecs
• VOD and Pay TV product

Basic Knowledge of:
• SVOD and Pay TV Industry developments (clients, competitors, technology)
• Film/TV Production & Post-Production workflows

Skill In:
• Project Management
• Microsoft Office
• MS EXCEL proficiency is required

The anticipated base salary for this position is $28.16/hour to $36.61/hour. This role may also qualify for incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
