Sales Marketing Assistant

Job Description

The Sales Marketing Assistant provides marketing support for the national Sales Marketing team for Sinclair Broadcast Group. This role is engaged in all aspects of the sales marketing process, including concept development for collateral materials to coordinating with creative team members, to interfacing with Sales AEs. This individual helps develop and execute monetizable and innovative multi-platform marketing solutions for new and existing sponsors. This position reports to the Director of Sales Marketing. Sinclair is seeking someone with a passion for sports media, with both experience in and a strong understanding of media sales. Familiarity with digital platforms, the media landscape, and experience with campaign management is a plus. 

RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):
• Provide support to Sales Marketing team, including scheduling meetings, planning
• Work with Sales Marketing team to develop presentations and one-sheets for programming, events, products, and tournaments in conjunction with Sales Marketing Coordinators and Managers
• Tracking time and expenses for department projects 
• Additional administrative tasks as assigned 

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS: 
• General knowledge of building presentations
• General knowledge of sports and media 
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Must work with a sense of urgency and be able to effectively prioritize projects 
• Comfortable taking initiative, being self-sufficient, and being resourceful 

QUALIFICATIONS: 
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with Microsoft Office software
• Internship or work experience working in media sales, advertising, marketing, or a related field is a plus

The base annual compensation range for this role is $42,000 - $48,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
