The Simon & Schuster Education & Library Marketing group is seeking a Marketing Coordinator who will report into VP, Director of Education & Library.

Responsibilities for this role will include:
• Assisting the VP with all department duties including responding to general teacher & librarian inquiries and monitoring the ed/library email account
• Executing key educator & librarian influencer mailings
• Spearheading submission of all children's American Library Association (ALA) awards and book lists
• Handling submission of all national, state, and regional children's education & library book awards
• Assisting in planning award winner's acceptance travel
• Working with educational sales team to promote our award selections to accounts
• Maintaining departmental master award grid and input all metadata into system

1-2 years of relevant work experience is required and experience in book publishing is highly preferred.
