DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. You will be an integral part of the Simon & Schuster UK Finance team, supporting the Financial Accountant and Financial Controller with administration and reconciliation of key accounting areas.

Job Role:

Reporting to the Financial Controller and supported by the Financial Accountant, this role will be responsible for ensuring completeness, efficiency and accuracy of financial records for employee expenses, banking, marketing costs and digital revenue. As the key contact for the immediate Finance team for relevant accounting areas; for the wider business concerning employee expenses; for the editorial and publicity teams concerning marketing costs; for our distributor and the Simon & Schuster UK sales team concerning marketing deductions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

You will have an understanding of accounting processes; be hardworking, intuitive, and adaptable; be a team player, personable and dynamic; have excellent Excel and administration skills and have demonstrated attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
