We are currently looking for an Assistant to join the Simon & Schuster Speakers Bureau team. The assistant will provide support to the bureau's Director and help manage event coordination for a roster of in-house authors. The core responsibilities of the role include managing author travel and logistics, liaising directly with speakers and clients on event itineraries and logistics, tracking the bureau's finances and invoices, managing a general phone line and mailbox, maintaining a CRM database will all author and event logistics, and writing and editing copy for the website and marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience within book publishing and/or an administrative position preferred.
