Job Description
Overview & Responsibilities:

The Senior Director is responsible for the development and execution of 360 marketing campaigns, serving as the brand steward across multiple scripted and non-scripted titles. They also provide managerial and leadership skills to ensure seamless day-to-day operations of the department. Lead Consumer Marketing Campaigns:
• Develop strategy and lead execution of large scale marketing campaigns from start to finish; accountable for reaching all key milestones among both internal and external partners
• Serve as the cross-functional leader for assigned series/docs, liaising with teams including Campaign Management, Creative, Digital & Social Marketing, Media & Marketing Strategy, On-air/Multi-Platform, Distributor & Partner Marketing, and PR and ensuring cohesive campaigns
• Craft campaign strategy, including series positioning, pillars, target audience, creative guardrails, and final marketing plan
• Lead development of foundational creative assets (key art, trailer) and manage the team responsible for the execution of paid advertising plan, with tactics including, print, video, mobile, social, audio, OOH, and activations.
• In conjunction with VPs, be a point of contact for executive partners (e.g. Programming Executives and External Producers)
• In partnership with Marketing Strategy, use insights & audience data to determine goals, critical metrics, and marketing effectiveness
• Identify in-season opportunities, optimization and activate on post-analysis findings

Team Management & Mentorship:
• Play an integral role in leading junior members of the team
• Supervise and mentor Manager & Coordinator level employees to guide overall career development in addition to their day-to-day role on individual projects
• Provide frequent feedback
• Ensure any new processes have been accurately communicated and implemented.

Budget Oversight:
• Work in conjunction with partners to manage individual series budgets and the overall tracking of Brand & Program Marketing budgets across series

Basic Qualifications:
• 10+ years experience in entertainment marketing at either a cable network, streaming platform or digital/social/branding agency with direct client experience
• Proven experience working with external agencies to execute marketing strategy/campaigns
• Demonstrated success in planning and overseeing 360 marketing campaigns, from messaging and creative development to execution to post-campaign recap and analysis

• Have a creative outlook; are constantly looking for new ways to delight and inspire audiences
• Have enthusiasm for and are a passionate consumer of entertainment content
• An exceptional storyteller; have proven ability to collaborate with creative teams on high-quality print and A/V content
• Easily understand social, audience, and viewership data in order to make informed campaign decisions
• Ability to see the big picture while also focusing on the details
• Experience in digital creative, social media, and developing creative a plus
• BS/BA in related field preferred
• Master's degree in a related field (is a plus)
