Position Summary:
Sr. Manager, Brand Marketing (Publishing, Licensed Content and Editorial) is responsible for overseeing the development of books and interactive products. The role requires internal cross functional coordination and partner management. It will also support the development and execution of general Sesame Street brand campaigns, and impact initiatives.
This position is based at our headquarters office in New York (Manhattan) with a hybrid work environment to include a minimum of two designated in-office days, determined by the functional nature of the role and department.
Purpose:
The Senior Manager oversees the development of licensed books and interactive editorial content, ensuring editorial excellence, brand consistency, and market relevance across licensed content. It also supports broader franchise and impact marketing initiatives that drive audience engagement and brand growth. This role bridges internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality, engaging products and campaigns that drive both impact and visibility.
Engagement:
• Approve and provide integrated feedback on manuscripts, layouts and product designs.
• Facilitate business reviews, line reviews and product development meetings with licensees and creative resources on a regular basis.
• Prepare and present decks at internal and external meetings, trade shows, advertising, events and line reviews.
• Assist in development of child-engagement strategy and subsequent execution of brand campaigns
Delivery:
• Oversee day to day editorial strategy for content driven licensees. Includes concept reviews, editorial and creative development, routing and approvals.
• Manage licensees' editorial and content plans on an ongoing basis by requesting, collecting and analyzing line lists, publishing/release plans, sell-in & sell-thru data, retail updates, marketing & merchandising plans, content trends for demographic, etc.
• Investigate new content/editorial/format opportunities to maximize marketplace potential
• Ensure brand consistency and legal compliance across products.
• Create and maintain product bibles for all licensees including line lists, product photos and catalogs.
• Support franchise campaigns, and social impact initiatives that drive brand engagement and impact for trade and consumers across Production, Consumer Products, Digital, and Experiential
• Provide marketing support for revenue businesses including licensing, sponsorships, and themed entertainment.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
• 5-7 years' experience working in publishing,
• Excellent line editing, copyediting, and proofreading skills
• Expert in PowerPoint

• Marketing, advertising, or digital media expertise a plus
• Multi-tasker with excellent organizational skills who can pay close attention to detail
