We're looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join the IT team who is ready for the challenge of working as part of a team in a world class games development studio of over 250 employees.

This is not a typical support desk role as the team works in a highly technical environment often working alongside developers to solve complex issues. This is a great role to grow your technology experience while having a vital impact on the efficiency of the studio which helps us make the best game we can.

Covid-19 Hiring Update: We've transitioned to a work-from-home model and we're continuing to interview and hire during this time. However, due to the nature of this role it is expected to be largely on-site with some remote work where appropriate.

Responsibilities:
• Resolving IT issues reported by the studio for people working remotely and in the office
• Administration of user accounts, desktops, consoles, and other systems
• Assisting with management of servers and network infrastructure
• Working on projects both individually and with other members of the team
• Ownership of some key development systems
• Other tasks as may be required by the needs of the team and the studio

Requirements:
• Strong IT support experience
• Expert level knowledge of Windows 10 and MacOS
• Extensive experience with Desktop PC hardware
• Comfortable in PowerShell including simple scripts
• Good communication skills and excellent customer service

Bonus Points:
• Experience of IT support in the games industry
• Ability to write scripts in Python or Bash
• Experience with any of the following: Jira, Confluence, Team City, render farms, audio design support, Unreal Engine, Perforce
