Supervisor, Art Outsourcing - League Of Legends

Job Description

As Art Outsourcing Supervisor, for League PC Gameplay, you will help build an external art pipeline that empowers the Gameplay team to create vibrant, richly detailed, player experiences. You will work closely with Product Leads, Delivery Leads, and Associate Art Directors to stay aligned on vision and priorities. You will work with team members to deliver compelling, and comprehensive content to players. You will learn to manage a team of content specialists and create a healthy team atmosphere and sustainable development pace.

You will report to the Director of Art Management.

Responsibilities:
• Work with the External Art Producer to manage externally created 2D, 3D, animation, and VFX assets.
• Provide accurate feedback to external vendors.
• Integrate art assets into the development pipeline.
• Ensure assets follow technical and stylistic specifications.
• Maintain documentation such as style sheets, asset templates, and pipeline guides.
• Help scale external art capacities for task complexity, speed and efficiency.
• Evaluate external art vendors.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in the game development industry as an artist or art lead.
• Understanding of art fundamentals and technical specifications for real-time games.
• Experience with 2D/3D art software such as Photoshop, Maya, and Zbrush.
• Experience integrating art assets into a game engine like Unreal or Unity.
• Experience with production tools like Perforce, Artella, Airtable, or Shotgrid.

Desirable Qualifications:
• Experience in creating high quality, stylized art.
• Experience with games use isometric cameras.

• (Los Angeles Only) Base salary range between $102,000.00 - $143,200.00 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
